Miami, FL ~ pt 6

On our first night in Miami we strolled through a firey Latino Christmas carnival. Santa's Enchanted Forest. (There was fake snow blowing from the castle entrance.)
Some of the best street food, EVER.

The most fascinating was the holiday dioramas. Astronaut Santa and his alien elves was real special. By the way, there were a ton of these life size oddities.
Complete with pony rides. Now Lucky wants one for Christmas. Shoot.
To take his mind off of the pony, we took a trip to South Beach the next morning.
The art deco architecture is simply divine.

81 degrees in December? Okay.
What's up with this? Look busy.
Leave it up to this guy and we will never make it to the water. So much sand, so little time.
Deep breath. Ahhhh...
The beautiful people.
Remind me why we are rushing home. Oh yeah, we miss you and want to spend Christmas with ya'all.
Lucky made a friend named Pablo. They made sandcastles.
We ate dinner at Manny's. Talk about an obscene amount of large food.
Mike ordered giant bacon for an appetizer.
Brad had pure flesh and blood...
Holy cow.

So, was that an unsliced pound of bacon, or is it wrapped around something? How do you eat it? With a fork? Was it good? Did your heart slow down? I bet Steve Kuehn is jealous of the bacon.
