St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands ~ part II

Coral World Ocean Park
This is THE spot on the island to get up close and personal with the 'beauty and magic of Caribbean marine life in a stunning setting'....
'You can view life on a coral reef from the unique undersea observatory'...
To Lucky, an aquarium's an aquarium. Yep....
at least Axel dug it. Then again, he is easily entertained by a bucket.
The iguanas, that are somewhat charming in the beginning, but quickly grow pesky as they surrounded and beg like icky little puppy dogs for wilted lettuce scraps.
Gotta go, waisting valuable beach time...
... but, Coki Point was way too crowed...
...so it's back to our little corner of the world...
...where Axel favored sunning his nudey little body on that balcony, while Lucky continued to try and beat his high score in the shadows. He wasn't feeling top notch the whole trip. Poor guy...
Morningstar Beach was nice....
Soft sand...
Calm waters...
Tasty cocktails...
Wish all parenting duties could be preformed from a reclining beach chair with a fruity rum drink in hand...
Lucky bought a treasure chest and was determined to make it to look just like the picture on the box...
...when he wasn't getting it, he handed the job over to me. Felt a little guilty taking over his project, but secretly liked it. Think I did an ok job, if it was supposed to look like a Jay Leno skull and cross-bone pirate skeleton...
Thanksgiving morning family resort fun time arts and crafts...
...and some laid back lazy island time...
Hot tropics...
Found our cool spot in the sand...
...and stayed there awhile...
Lucky gave snorkeling a chance.
Maybe next year...
Axel. Man about the beach...
Thanksgiving 2011
We have a lot to be thankful for.
Like being able to start our own family traditions....
We love you!
The hotel provided all the turkey day standards...
...right down to the pumpkin pie...
Good night.
Required to check out early the next day.
...so with a packed up car....
...and almost a whole day to kill...
There must have been a skunk hanging around the merchants at the top of the scenic overlook.
That's weird...
No taxation without representation.
Brad's big shot...
Mike's big shot...
Axel's letting the big guy in on what he wants for Christmas....
Lucky's caught coping a quick feel...
Living in a dude's paradise...
Let's eat...
...and a quick stroll and a little last minute shopping in Frenchtown...
About time to set sail...
The ever connected iFamily is home...
...and ready to go....
