Portland, Oregon ~ part 2

My first evening in one of the greenest cities in America was a refreshing one.
Breaking free from the family unit and the confines of the rv for an evening out.
Dinner and drinks with an old friend from Round Lake.
Lots of catching up and childhood memories.
Thanks, Coley!
Rise and Shine...
VooDoo Donut
a Portland staple.
The line is as slow as a clogged artery...
The menu is as whacky and weird as the people of Portland...
 Magically delicious...
 Mmmm.... Bacon
(Homer Simpson voice)
Lucky + Oreos = Love Sweet Love
The spawn gnaws on a pentagram pastry.
He's so metal.
 Open wide...
...and enjoy the ride.
Portland is the bike ridingest city in the US...
...and also the skateboardingest city...
Hey there Fancy Pants, where do you go when things get tough?
There is a 24-hour Church of Elvis.
We could have got married all over again, if it would have been open...
Axel knows how to throw down some black beans...
...and the food carts around Portland know what's up...
Walk this way, Talk this way...
Seesaw swingin' with the boys in the school
And your feet flyin' up in the air,
I sing "Hey diddle diddle"
Put your kitty in the middle of the swing
Like you didn't care
Later on...
Nicole showed us around her brand new beautiful home...
...made us fancy Margaritaville margaritas while we traded Vegas stories...
...Meanwhile, Lucky fell in love with Olympia (Oly), the Bangle cat...
...and Hannah, but didn't want to get too close...
...and well Axel, he just fell... down the stairs, that is. ..
We forgot he learned how to climb steps before we left home. He is really fast.
Poor kid, getting all banged around.
Good thing he's pretty durable and nothing phases him much...
See ya at the Fair!
...and thanks for the hot breakfast tip...
Grill your own flapjakes right at the comfort of your own table at Slappy Cakes!
 Choose your own toppings...
...and get crazy!!!
Can't cut 'em fast enough for my man, Axel...
Chef Lucky knows how to man-handling a griddle...
This place made Lucky happier than beyond belief...
With a name like Slappy Cakes, it's gotta be good!
Ah ha!
Salem, OR
The Enchanted Forest
Gingerbread kids
..and spiders...
...going down the rabbit hole...
Where's my eggy man?
Their was an old couple who traveled the country in an rv,
they had 2 crazy kids, they didn't know what to do.
...a wicked old witch...
Who doesn't love state of the art animatronics...
Honestly,
...I surround myself with only the highest quality of guys...
...some sweet ones...
...some creepy ones...
...and some just plain goons.
This train keeps a rollin'...

I want to go to Slappy Ckaes with Lucky. I bet I love pancakes with various innards as much as he does.
