San Francisco, California

Well, it's time to beat those winter blues. There are blue skys ahead in Hawaii...
First stop, San Francisco, California.
Mike was so certain that Lucky would get a kick out of those crazy barking sea lions in the Fisherman's Wharf...
...but to our surprise there has been a bit of a mystery around the Bay Area as to the sea lions where abouts...

At least Lucky still gets off harassing the sea gulls and pigeons...

The old-timey penny arcade is was not that cool for the modern day Lucky...
He likes his "bideo games" to be a little more violent and action packed.
This is Laughing Sal, a real San Francisco treat.
The joy of seeing the Sponge Bob 4D Movie did the trick...
Then the thrill of winning the giant Patrick was pretty sweet, until the realization that he would have to stay in San Francisco and not travel on the next 5 flights with us set in. Buzz kill...
He'll have a nice life, at least he doesn't have to worry about being locked up on The Rock any time soon...
The MUNI was our main form of transportation...
It took us on a Divine trip through the Castro...
...on our way to the Haight Ashbury district...
Lucky maped out the Ben & Jerry's that is smack in the middle of it all...
Then is was on to the famous 710 Ashbury house. The Grateful Dead lived here...
...Janis Joplin's home sweet home. 122 Lyon Street...
Bob never lived here, but God bless his soul...
Ya know, he died of a brain tumor, a result of the untreated cancer in his toe...
(though, it is doubtful that he wore woman's stockings.)

Mike sang a song about Amebia Music Store. His voice IS his instrument. This is the same store that Lucky asked me, as loud as can be, right in front of a small group of punk rock cashiers, "MOM, Do girls have brains?' "YES, Yes we do", I respond. Followed by, "Why don't girls have penises?" Turn and walk away...
A stroll through Golden Gate Park...
...brought lucky some much needed playground action, minus the vegrants...

...and to the Japanese Tea Garden...
Lombard Street is not as pretty in the winter without all it's blooming flowers.
No trip to San Francisco would be complete for Mike without a visit to The Stinking Rose...
...and for the rest of us, west coast means an In N Out burger...
Greetings from the City of Love...
...but we are in search of sunny skies and warmer weather.
 Aloha Mr. Hand...
Peace Out!
See ya in the South Pacific!
