Waikiki Beach ~ Honolulu, O'ahu ~ Hawaii ~ Part I

Since landing in Honolulu late Friday night, we have been doing just what we promised ourselves...

A whole lot of nothing, but relaxing in the sun. No real agenda to speak of...

Days 1 & 2:

Check out the cagey birds, humping turtles and feed the fishies outside hotel room...

Hawaii is for lovers...

Eat lots of fresh fruit:

Gear up and head to the beach:

Have a brief conversation about how happy we are to be out of the snow, then put it past us:

Build sandgarages and play in the water:

If your name is Lucky, enjoy as many icey cold treats as you can get your hands on...

Of course we had to seek out the much anticipated Puca Dog....

So far, there has been many early mornings and early bed times. Lucky's been suffering the most from the time change. Hawaii is 4 hours behind Minnesota. That, combined with all the sun, it is making for the perfect, restful and lazy vacation we were looking forward too...
