Day 4:
More lazy Hawaiian adventures...
Took another drive.
This time up the west coast to see what we could see.
This time up the west coast to see what we could see.
Guess, it wasn't captured very well, but the rock is red and very reminiscent of the southwest...
Watched the surfers from high up on a cliff...
Lucky tossed rocks over...
Major waves.
A better display than the North Shore of O'ahu...
An icey cold coconut for the road...
Came across mystical piles of rock...
Apparently they mean nothing at all and seem to piss off the locals...
...so Lucky built one...
...during out little nature walk through a rainforest...
The rest of the day was spent napping with Corndog Beast...
...and a some what disorganized game of Underwear Superhero...
Last day for...
Swung by the laundry mat for the last and final leg of our tour...

...and looking at my dirty tan feet...
Mike and Lucky had an engaging conversation about football jersey numbers...
...and a some what disorganized game of Underwear Superhero...
Day 5:
The morning started out as it would with any old retired couple.
Whale watching and feeding the birds over the morning coffee and newspaper...
When it became clear that Lucky would be satisfied laying around the room watching tv all day, we peeled ourselves up and made way to the pool......for the big kahuna...
Later, a little dinner out on the town......and a show...
No Cirque du Soleil...
...but lovely all the same...
Day 6:Last day for...
Swung by the laundry mat for the last and final leg of our tour...
...the day I meet a perfect stranger at a laundry mat and sit as close to them as possiable is never, but I am not almost 4 and stuck for 21 days with the only 2 people that made me...
(this little girl spoke spanish and the only word I could make out was "gringos" when she refered to us)
The volcano on Maui last erupted in 1790 and is still considered active...
The area near Wailea is all lava field...
This is moments before a carefree lava rock throwing Lucky took a face dive into "that darn lava" and coral...Ice cream with Fred Flintstone is sure to make it better....

Checked out the big giant banyan tree...
Time to pack up for an early morning flight to Kauai with a little sun left in the day for some pool time...
Next stop, The Garden Island...
