Built in 1939, this landmark has sat almost vacant for over 25 years. When Ted Sliger died, his widow Alice couldn't keep the place going. However, she still resides on the premises and runs the attached wild game museum.
For 25 seasons the individual cabins were home to the New York (later San Fransisco) Giants during spring trainings.
Their coach, Leo Durocher was said to be a true believer of the powers in the mineral water that still runs through, today. It is famous for healing arthritis and other ailments with the potassium, silica, magnesium and iron infused water.
Interesting, to say the least.

Yeah, crazy loud patriotic music played on a mammoth sized pipe organ...
Then we swung by to visit our old neighbors, Todd, Karen and Tyler. Todd's parents also are a couple of snowbirds. Lucky enjoyed playing cops and robbers with Tyler and snacking on fresh strawberries and whipe cream...
