Our campground was as bizarre (scary) as the rest of Connecticut. Camp Gentiles. I am sure there is a meth lab or two scattered throughout.
We came across Wells Dinosaur Haven. It is the work of one kind man who displays them in his wooded backyard.

Back in the 60's some dude had a vision. He built a miniature Bethlehem on the hills of Waterbury. This was once a hot tourist attraction. A year before he died it started going by the wayside. The nuns own it now and refuse any help on rebuilding it. There is a large shiny cross that over looks the city, but the rest is a picked through, ramshackled mess.

That's it. We are on our way out. Conneticut isn't very disirable. Kind of on the ghetto side. At least, what we saw. We will be parking the RV in New Jersey and heading into Manhatten for a few days to vist Hunter. We may not get the parking spot until Wednesday, so we'll have to find something good to get into in the time being.
It might be time to restock the potpies. Lucky has been enjoying them as usual.
