Spokane to Seattle, WA

The site of the 1974 World's Fair.
A fair which a young Mike and his Mother rode the train west to attend.
He has vivid memories of riding this turn of the century carousel...
...and feeding this garbage sucking goat his own trash way back then...
The milk guzzling....
...Dynamic Duo gets to retrace their dad's footsteps...
Yahoooo...
The hot-shot rookie sensation thinks that by shining up his hot rod,
it will make him faster and better...
Wrong.
I can beat him with one hand tied around this baby AND my eyes closed.
Moving west through the mountains...
Stopped for some damn fine pie...
...and a pancake...
...where Laura Palmer was murdered...
Lucky encountered a convoy...
Met the troops. Shook some hands. Got an autograph.
Was offered a 13 year delayed entry, if he signed up today.
Seattle or Bust...
Come as you are, as you were
As I want you to be
As a friend, as a friend
As an old enemy
Take your time, hurry up
The choice is yours, don't be late
Take a rest as a friend
As an old
Memoria, memoria
Memoria, memoria
First stop...
Pike's Place Market
Flying fish lunch...
(lots (I mean lots) of our money goes to these people)
The Motherland...
...such a beautiful Tom Waits-y like voice...
...Smells like teen spirit...
Yummy
Mike told us a story about when he was a kid, him and his mom were having a
bowl of clam chowder at this outdoor restaurant...
...and feeding the sea gulls...
...when one dove into the water, fished out a baby shark and dropped it right at their feet. Mike likes to have a bowl of clam chowder whenever he's in the area.
When I'm feeling tired
She puts food through the door
I crawl towards the cracks of light
Sometimes I can't find my way
Washington smells good...
The bluest skies you've ever seen are in Seattle
And the hills the greenest green, in Seattle
Like a beautiful child, growing up, free an' wild
Full of hopes an' full of fears, full of laughter, full of tears
Full of dreams to last the years, in Seattle
. . . in Seattle!
Street Fair!
Fun!
Eat it, Baby...
Face in the Hole!
Flea Market...
 Art...
...we DO love TV...
Giant Jenga game!
High hopes for the "carrot dog". nope. Rude.
The clown made a balloon airplane.
When it popped, Lucky balled as if his dog died.
Enough.
But first, are you experienced?
Have you ever been experienced?
Well, I have
I know, I know you probably scream and cry
That your little world won't let you go
But who in your measly little world
Are you trying to prove that
You're made out of gold and, eh, can't be sold
Trumpets and violins I can hear in distance
I think they're calling our names
Maybe now you can't hear them, but you will
If you just take hold of my hand
Not necessarily stoned,
...but beautiful...
Hendrix is pretty much Lucky's favorite musician now...
Axel's a little more grunge...
...after all, his first concert was Courtney Love...
Rock Stars
A Landmark...
The solider needed to make a quick pit stop at Fort Lewis...
...another pit stop...
OK...
Let's get it on already...
