It is the next best thing to a real African safari.
They even offer camping. We didn't do it, but I guess the animals really come out at night.
It's called the Roar and Snore.
They also offer all kinds of different tours through the "savannah" for close animal encounters.
However, we opted for the general admission. Being, that they had enough activities to keep our wild animal tame.
What do ya know, he even had a close encounter of his own...
Look who's lurking around town...
We took a nice walk through the park...
...until we came face to face with a giant snake...
Then, we stumbled into the most amazing garden...
Queen Califia's Magical Circle...
Lucky called this Eagle Throne his "beautiful tower"...
...and said he was "in charge of the snakes"...
What a little charmer.
We didn't want to leave. Ever.
But, there is more jolly fun to follow...
Luck, I am your father...
Woo-ee-oo, I look just like Buddy Holly...
...at the Bob the Builder 4-D movie...
Pirates and sharks, OH MY!
So many awesome lego sculptures, so many rides, so many lines, so little time...
One celebrity sighting. David Koechner and his son Sargent. Funny, funny man.
We had to come back the next day for the Legoland Aquarium...
but were able to save some time in the day for a little beach time fun...
...and some street food. California style...
