Homeward Bound

We left San Diego for the 30 hour drive home at 11:00 am on April, 19th.

A fairly uneventful drive. Had a toddler who felt rotten with a high fever and a terrible cough.

The only real excitement came in the form of gyros...
...basically in the middle of no where. Bakers, California.
A lot of snowy Rocky Mountains (which I failed to photograph) and a whole lot of this...
Welcome home, us!
This time we were gone, 59 days.
3,480 photographs
RV racked up a total of 6,990 miles
The Red Car had a total of 3,515
Giving us a grand total of 10,505 miles
6 states, 1 foreign country, Mexico
We reached home around noon on April, 21st. It looks like spring has finally sprung in Minnesota. It's a good time to get home and stay put for a while.

Though, Lucky is eager to get back in the rv. He has asked to go back in it since the day we got home. Perhaps we are breading a true road dog, rock star.
You never know. Stay tuned, maybe we will get a couple short trips in this summer.
