Holbrook, Arizona ~ Part 1

Continuing west on into Arizona...
...we are immediately greeted by large tee pees, trading posts...
...plenty of dinosaurs and more petrified wood than you can shake a stick at...
Stewart's is a dusty little gem out there in the desert...

Feed the ostriches...
...and wonder through a field of creepy mannequins, preforming such acts as, riding a dinosaur, throwing an ostrich egg or simply just being tied up to old abandon school bus...
...nice kitty...

Lucky made us pull off at The Wigwam Motel for another Disney's Cars inspiration.
Sally's Cozy Cone Roadside Motel in the town of Radiator Springs.
Lucky and Mike with Tow Mater...
...and blue Ramone...

This attraction is now on the Historical Register... for being AWESOME.
Well, Here we are in Holbrook, Arizona...

...traveling The Mother Road...
Pat and Gene,
Roll out the welcome wagon,
'cause we're coming around the mountian.

Hi:

You guys are finding the coolest places to see. How do you do it? Do you have a guide or are you just traveling Route 66 & find these places by a fluke.?

I LOVE the pictures of the Cozy Cone. I just watched Cars and actually paid attention to it all the way thru. It's a pretty cool movie.

That movie makes me cry everytime I actually pay attention to it and have learned many a life lessons from it and Lucky.

I owe special thanks to Lightening McQueen and the good folks of Radiator Springs.
