Vermont

First of all, let me say, Vermont is insanly beautiful. So very Norman Rockwell. I couldn't take a picture that would do the mountains or the colors any justice. Around every bend in the road it looks like a postcard.

We started with a gondola ride to the southern most highest peak in the Stratton Mountain Ski Resort.

Our next great thing was the Maple Museum. Nice and cheesey. Full of all these creepy stuffed manacins working on syrup mills and stuff. It was weird, but Brad picked up some fun facts, like 4 buckets of sap equals 1 quart of maple syrup. We got free samples. It was okay, but the syrup we got off some bearded dude on the street was like candy.
There was no avoiding the Ben and Jerry Factory. It was calling out to us. More free samples.
Church street in Burlington is where all the hip people meet. Lots of shops and resturants. We got a hot tip about The Penny Cluse Cafe from Sarah Anderson. The hour and half wait was well worth it. And well, who doesn't love a tower of file cabnets and whale tails off the freeway.

Lucky has been such a good boy on this trip. He is keeping up and has adjusted very well. At first he was having some serious issues with Brad. He thought Brad was out to get him and all his stuff, but they have smoothed things out and Lucky seems to actually be quite into him. He misses everyone back home and brings you all up often. We look at pictures and talk about Lucky's house. We are 3 weeks into our travels. Everyone's colds are pretty much over and all spirits are up. We just got to New Hampshire today, so we've all been a bit cooped up all day. Not really sure what our plans are here. We might be on the coast of Maine, sooner than later.

I'm so glad that Brad is learning some useless knowledge cuz you never no when it will come in handy. It'll be good "Pick Up Lines" for the bars back home. Love the tower of file cabinets. My the east coast people certainly know how to recycle. What could i stack up in my yard?I could stuff all of Paiges sweatshirts and make a fence around my yard. Go sleeve to sleeve. Hmmm I'll have to think up something.Keep up on the useless knowledge cuz we out here in the midwest need something for in the winter to talk about. What was the best flavor at Ben and Jerry's. My plain old vanilla with hersheys syrup doesnt compare to theirs. but actually any ice cream is fine to me Yummmm.
