Sesame Place

My cousin Laura and her daughter Carmella met us at Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA on Saturday. Carmella was so excited to see Lucky, but true to Lucky form, he ran through the park like a raving maniac foaming at the mouth. By the end he was a sweaty mess of a zombie, but the hug when they first saw each other was very sweet.

They started out with face paintings. Carmella was the pretty princess that she is and Lucky was Oscar the Grouch.

He actually scared himself when he looked in the mirror.

We got to watch Elmo's World live. Elmo is like a rock star. The kids go crazy.

Lucky is a big fan of rides, he's got a need for speed. I took him on a big roller coaster. It might have been a little more scary for me, the lap bar didn't go down very far and it went pretty fast. Then he tried jumping out of the car when the car wasn't even back to the exit. They also have so many things to climb on and run through.

Dine with Me is a lunch buffet where all the characters are. It was great. Out in the park the lines get a little long for hugs and pictures with the characters, but this way the kids had a chance to spend a lot of time with each of them. The Count was Lucky's favorite, he snubbed Burt and fed Elmo. Carmella joined in on their song and dance.

The park ends the day with a parade. Pretty exciting. I really can't imagine what is going on in these toddlers little brains. It must be very surreal.

It was a great day, it was supposed to rain, but we stayed dry. Laura looks great and her baby is due in about 6 weeks. She likes the east coast and her job. I'm glad we had a chance to get together.

Thanks, Laura

Lucky was a beat down mess of an animal. Yes, he did tell Elmo to "Eat it". When he was a tad bit younger, I used to feed his Elmo doll to get him to eat. He must of remembered that.
